Calculations

This indicator is calculated by dividing the number of respondents who answered "no to all twelve first chronic health conditions asked in the questionnaire" by the number of respondents who answered "yes or no, to at least 1 of the options" to the question: Has any health professional ever diagnosed you with or treated you for any of the following chronic health conditions: arthritis, asthma, chronic pain, Emphysema or COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), cancer, diabetes, depression, A mood disorder other than depression, such as bipolar disorder, mania, manic depression, or dysthymia, heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure or hypertension or gastric reflux (GERD).
