Source

New Brunswick Health Council, Student Wellness Survey - Grades 6-12

Calculations

This indicator adds the responses to the following 2 individual questions: 'Yesterday, how many times did you eat or drink: Vegetables (for example, fresh, cooked, frozen or canned)?' and 'Yesterday, how many times did you eat or drink: Fruit (for example, fresh, frozen, canned or dried fruits; do not include fruit juice or fruit flavoured candies)?'. The response options for these 2 individual questions are: none, 1 serving, 2 servings, 3 servings, 4 servings, 5 servings and 6+ servings. This indicator is calculated by dividing the number of respondents who have a total combined response of '5 or more servings' by the number of respondents who answered at least 1 of the 2 individual questions.
