This indicator is calculated by dividing the number of respondents who answered "Black" by the number of respondents who answered "Black (for example, African, Afro-Caribbean, African Canadian descent), East/Southeast Asian (for example, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese descent or Filipino, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Thai, Indonesian, other Southeast Asian descent), Indigenous (for example, First Nations [including Mi’kMaq, Wolastoqey or Passamaquoddy], Métis or Inuk/Inuit), Latino (for example, Latin American, Hispanic descent), Middle Eastern (for example, Arab, Persian, West Asian descent like Afghan, Iranian, Turkish or Kurdish), South Asian (for example, Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Indo-Caribbean), White (for example, European descent) or another category." to the question: Please select which of the following categories best describe you:
