Source

New Brunswick Health Council, Student Wellness and Education Survey - Grades 6-12

Calculations

This indicator is calculated by dividing the number of respondents who selected "Using e-cigarettes (electronic cigarettes, vape)" by the "total number of respondents", to the question: Have you ever tried any of the following? Smoking little cigars or cigarillos (plain or flavoured), smoking cigars (not including little cigars or cigarillos, plain or flavoured), smoking roll-your-own cigarettes (tobacco only, in rolling papers), smoking bidis (little cigarettes hand-rolled in leaves, tied with string at the ends, and may come in different flavours), using smokeless tobacco (chewing tobacco, pinch, snuff, or snus), using nicotine patches, nicotine gum, nicotine lozenges, or nicotine inhalers, using a water-pipe (hookah) to smoke sheesha (herbal or tobacco), using blunt wraps (a tube made of tobacco used to roll cigarette tobacco) and using e-cigarettes (electronic cigarettes, vape) ?
